How Twitter and Skype can be used for CPD, in teachers' own words.

I asked people, via Twitter, how they used applications like Twitter and Skype for their own professional development. This was for an article in the Times Education Supplement.

The article has been published now, but unfortunately the quotes I included were omitted. Therefore, what I've done is to collate them all into a file that can be used for staff training or simply your own edification. The file includes the quotes, Twitter names, and blog details if known.

In fact, I've created three versions of the file online, as the applications used all have different virtues. There is also the original PowerPoint available for download too.

Obviously, any feedback you have on this would be welcome.

This was a fine example of collaboration, and on that topic, if you have been involved in a collaborative project, please take a few minutes to complete a survey about it. The survey is open to students as well as teachers -- they don't have to reveal their names or email addresses.

Thanks.
